“I just had my first Facial Acupuncture treatment with Liz at Soraluna and I must say, I am absolutely glowing! (Seriously, I’m glowing). In fact, a friend of mine asked me if I was pregnant a few hours after the session (I am not) 🙂

Stepping into Soraluna is like stepping into a sanctuary. Liz, the owner, has obviously thought through every detail. The space is a true oasis in the midst of the city and just being in the room calmed my nervous system.

I’ve been getting acupuncture for a good 15 years now, and I have never had a treatment like the facial acupuncture treatment I had with Liz! As far as I know, no one else is doing this, and it's absolutely incredible!

Liz is highly attentive, thoughtful, and cares deeply about her clients.This is clear in the very thorough time she spends with you before the treatment asking about your overall health. She inquires about you as a whole person, body and spirit, not just focusing on one particular problem area.

Once she assesses what you need, she begins her treatment, which in my case included some body needling, essences, stones on my heart chakra, some foot massage, …..and then the amazing part - the facial treatment. This included a lovely mask, a gua sha treatment, jaw massage, and then needles in my face! Not to worry, they did not go in deep and it was not painful - quite the opposite. It felt so lovely and re-invigorating. The music was soothing, the essences and oils were healing. Liz also gave me herbs to help with various medical issues we discussed. I’ve been taking them every day and they are definitely helping to support me with some of my physical challenges. 

Liz is kind, gentle, and highly knowledgeable at her craft. She weaves acupuncture, Chinese medicine, herbalism, and now facial treatments into one session. It’s nothing but AMAZING!
